Winter concerts

Winter concerts Over the years our celebrated Winter Concerts, of music and readings for the festive season, have become not only one of our most successful fund raising events but a family occasion for our supporters, members and the wider public to understand and further the work of Stars Foundation.

The concerts have enjoyed playing in many fine venues including the Royal Festival Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall on the South Bank, St Paul’s (the Actors Church) Covent Garden and in 2007 in the splendour of Ely Cathedral.

Many famous and much loved names from stage and screen have kindly given of their services to appear including John Bardon;  Petula Clark CBE;  Pauline Collins OBE;  Sir Nigel Hawthorne;  Ian Lavender;  Julia McKenzie;  Brian Murphy;  Elaine Paige OBE;  Nicholas Parsons OBE;  Phillip Schofield;  David Suchet OBE;  Sylvia Syms OBE;  Christopher Timothy;  June Whitfield CBE and our President, the remarkable Dame Vera Lynn DBE LLD.

Our concerts are always a wonderful beginning to the festive season and future events will be announced here on the website.
